Sitka Community Hospital has been providing health care services to the community of Sitka, Alaska for over fifty years. This is a city-owned hospital governed by a volunteer board of trustees.

Licensing & Certification - The hospital, its co-located nursing home and home health agency are all inspected, licensed and certified by the State of Alaska Department of Health & Social Services, through authorization by the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services. We are licensed for 12 acute care beds, 15 long term care beds and can accommodate up to 12 intermediate care (“swing bed”) patients. In addition to the basic hospital inpatient services, a hospital-based clinic, Mountainside Family Healthcare offers outpatient clinic services with a focus on family and women’s health.
