Hugh Hallgren has been appointed CEO of Sitka Community Hospital. Mr. Hallgren's first day was September 15, 2009. Mr. Hallgren has been a hospital CEO/Administrator since 1982. A graduate of the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, he has held CEO positions in hospitals in New Mexico, Texas, and Alaska. Mr. Hallgren and his wife Tanya are looking forward to taking part in hospital and community activities. "We already love the community and the hospital family has been very supportive," Hallgren said.
