Visiting Physicians

Because Sitka is a small, isolated community, people often feel that to receive specialized medical care they will need to travel elsewhere.  This is not true! 

Mountainside Family Healthcare Specialist Clinic hosts visiting specialists who provide consultation, treatment and surgical procedures at the hospital in such specialties as urology, cardiology, allergies & asthma, podiatry, and ear/nose/throat. Orthopedics and ophthalmology are also available in Sitka, and we can refer you to those specialists.

The Specialist Clinic is located in the lower level of Sitka Community Hospital and we are always looking for more specialists to come visit us here in Sitka!
