Mountainside Family Healthcare is a provider-based medical clinic and an outpatient department of Sitka Community Hospital. Our provider mix includes Family Practice and Internal Medicine Physicians, as well as Advanced Nurse Practitioners, all of whom are able to provide office based medical care for children and adults of all ages. Services include urgent care, vaccinations, preventative care, employment and school physicals and all general health care needs. PRESCRIPTION RENEWAL If you need a prescription renewal, please call (907)747-0399. When prompted, please leave the following details in a message: 1.Your full name 2.Your date of birth 3.The pharmacy you wish to receive your medications from 4.The name of the medications you need refilled 5.The name of the Provider that normally care for you/writes your prescriptions Prescription refill requests may take up to 72 hours to process. Please check with your pharmacy for your refill status before requesting a prescription renewal. If you have not seen a health care provider for an extended period of time, you may be asked to make an appointment before receiving refills of some prescription medications. CLINIC MANAGER

James Cabeen, DO Family Practice Dr. Cabeen, a former U.S. Navy Corpsman and Gulf War veteran attended the University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri and completed his Family Practice Residency at Bay Regional Medical Center, Bay City, Michigan and has been in both private practice and tribal health since that time. He has volunteered with numerous public service organizations including the Special Olympics and has been on medical missions to Guatemala. In his time away from work, he enjoys the outdoors, rock climbing and is an avid cyclist.
